Sonnet

For yr Love have I sacrificed the Storm
And Caught between my aching Teeth
The full flushed Draft of small Desire
With smiling Tears and loving Hate
Rounded the corner of the Shining Fire
Loves first hit is so refined
No blade of Plenty can it inure
From Perjury or the glancing Mire
Its Feet are steady, requires
No rules, conforms to Nothing
Taught in Schools
For your love have I dug a Path
That separates the pleading from the
Staff that trod the earth in steady gait
No Pilgrim comes without invite, mute,
And leaves no Stone unturned
If stars were mud & Stones Desire
By you, for You
I would be rescued from this Fire.

sano, silenzioso,
